Sandra has been working in the health care industry since 2015. While working in the community, she noticed many patients were not receiving proper foot care, and therefore were experiencing pain, discomfort, and other health serious conditions. Sandra knew in her early days as a caregiver that she wanted to become a nurse specialized in medical foot care and be part of the change in helping patients receive quality and professional foot care. Sandra pursued her studies in becoming a Registered Practical Nurse and completed her certification in Advanced Foot Care for Nurses. She is a member of The College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

Originally from Ottawa, Patrick holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with a Minor in Business Management from the University of Ottawa. His academic foundation provided a strong understanding of human physiology and disease, which he further developed through post-graduate studies in Chiropody at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN in Toronto.
During his clinical training, Patrick gained hands-on experience across a variety of foot health settings. Julia is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist practicing in the Ottawa area since 2018. Originally from Nova Scotia, she grew up in the Annapolis Valley and was a competitive dancer, cheerleader and dabbler in a number of sports. After high school, she attended St. Francis Xavier University and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with a minor in Biology in 2016. Upon graduating, she entered the Western University diploma in Pedorthics program to pursue her passion of helping others lead active, pain free lives. After completing the program, she officially became a Canadian Certified Pedorthist in December 2017.
Her professional focus is helping others recover from acute and chronic pain through the use of custom orthotics, footwear, lifestyle modifications, exercises, knee bracing and other recovery aides. While pursuing her passions within a Pedorthic scope, she really found those suffering with knee pain and instability required additional support in order to lead normal, pain free lives. She has since found tremendous success with fitting custom and off the shelf knee braces in order to help her patients dealing with chronic and acute knee issues live happier, healthier lives.

Raised in Ottawa, Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University, where he was accepted into the competitive Sports Injury Assessment and Management Program and graduated as Valedictorian. During his studies, he worked as a student therapist with Acadia University’s Football and Men’s Varsity Hockey teams, gaining hands-on experience in sports injury care and rehabilitation.
He went on to earn a Diploma in Pedorthics with Distinction from the University of Western Ontario and became a Certified Pedorthist (Canada) in 2011. To further expand his clinical expertise, Alex completed a three-year Chiropody program in Toronto, with final training at The Ottawa Hospital’s Total Foot Care Clinic, focusing on diabetic wound care and foot ulcer management.
